On a more serious note, more decrees for the citizens of Atlantis. And, yes, they are written in English (DAISY!) even though we speak mostly Atlantean here. For those of you who do not know, Atlantean is a derivative of Finnish. It is a very inefficient language, and sometimes a whole book's worth of paper space can be required just to write one four word sentence. Hence why the decrees are in English. They translate them. I am working on fixing the language, but Supreme Rulers are so busy...
Anyways.
All Citizens should be aware that starting tomorrow we must all set our clocks back one hour and .16 seconds in order to account for us moving into a slightly different time zone. On the first day after the switch lateness or earliness will be tolerated, on account of some of you who are lazy bums who don't bother changing your clocks when you should, but a clock inspection will be held. After that a fine of $14.23 ASD (Atlantean Standard Dollars) will be required for each clock unchanged. For tourists information: One Atlantean Standard Dollar is about 1.39999999999 USD. I'm working on that too. I know there aren't any tourists, I just don't want to be sued for not letting the nonexistent tourists know these things. That's just the world we live in. So, change your clocks. It's better that way.
All Citizens should also be aware that your students at Seven Seas Elementary School, Low Tide Junior High, and Tsunami High School will be getting their report cards tomorrow. So if you student comes home and is very angry/sad/happy/violent/disbelieving/upset/horrified/proud/ecstatic/sullen/unsocial/bouncy/thrilled/quiet/boastful/any other emotion that would go with report card results/weird tomorrow, that is why. Check their backpacks as soon as you can to get them before they either put them on the fridge or burn them. You can't trust kids these days. Also, hide the matches and white-out.
Thank you!
