Hello, dearest citizens! Now, first off, I would like to wish you a wonderful Thanks Given Day, though it is already nearly through... No matter. Better late than never, eh? So, I'm absolutely certain that all of you remembered this rule, but in case some of you forgot or are new here, I'll repeat it.
Due to the Turkey Revolt of '04, it is now illegal to eat or shoot turkeys during the holiday season, and indeed all year long. Trust me on this, folks, things got ugly. We want to keep the turkeys and their cronies happy. Otherwise they will find evil ways to use feathers and red paint... Ugh. Anyways, just go to your local Ocean Central Supermarket to purchase your turkey substitute.
Oh, one of my minions- ehem, Senators- has just told me that the turkeys have revised their demands. No meat at all during the holidays. Especially fowl. Well, we'd best do as they say! I was already a vegetarian meself, but that's a whole different kettle of fish. So just get some vegetables and pie, please. Thank you.
Well, onto a happier subject. Your lists were supposed to be posted today! We will wait until tomorrow to check that they made it in, in case some of you went into sugar comas or something. Please post them under the 'Bulletin Board' topic in the community center. I will post mine here as an example.
My Thanks Given Day List
I am thankful for...
1. Good music!
2. Warm cookies and good movies.
3. The Church.
4. My family- immediate and extended.
5. My friends!
6. The fact that my body works well, and my mind usually does.
7. A wonderful home that we were able to move into.
8. Colors, sounds, smells, feelings.
9. Warm, cloudy, rainy days.
10. Good books and comfy chairs.
11. A free country.
12. Chances to be silly.
13. Weekends and holidays.
So yep, that's what you need to do. Sorry if I sound a little odd today, I got about 4 hours of sleep last night... So I should probably go to bed now...
Until tomorrow!
