Thanks Given Day!

Dearest Citizens. Today is a busy day. It's actually quite early in Atlantis right now... The sun hasn't even come up. So why am I up? I don't know... I rather wish I wasn't, but I am. So I am may as well get some important business out of the way.

In honor of Thanks Given Day this Monday, there will be a fun-raiser. It's like a fundraiser, but more fun. It will be held on Monday, November 22, at 8:06.16 am. Remember that 1 minute and .16 seconds we talked about earlier? Yep, that comes into play here. The fun-raiser will go as follows:

0) Before coming, please put on a black tee-shirt and black pants. :)

1) Arrive. Please do so promptly and have a seat in one of the provided folding chairs after paying the 6 ASD admission fee.

2) Go ahead and use some of the provided paper and provided pens to write your Thanks Given Day of 13 things you're grateful for. It's best to get it out of the way before you forget.

3) When an official-looking person stands and clears their throat, please return to your provided seat and shut your mouths. Tightly. Talking while the official is talking will result in one of the following punishments:

-Writing 'I will obey all laws of the Supreme Ruler' 1,462 times with squeaky chalk

-Being expelled from the fun-raiser and having to rewrite your list

-Getting put in the Atlantean Correctional Facility in the Loony Wing

Or, my personal favorite:

-Spending four hours babysitting triplet boys who are around 3 years old. So be quiet.

4) Pay attention as you are separated into two groups: Red and Blue. Tie the colored hankie you receive onto your arm/leg/some other bodily appendage where it can be seen.

5) Red team go to the left, blue team to the right. You will see a large field in front of all of you that is filled with huge metal buckets, and that those buckets are filled with cut up panty hoes, and that those panty hoes are filled with flour, and that that flour is filled with- never mind. Got carried away there....

6) Pick a red captain and a blue captain.

7) Load up on the panty hoes and get ready!

8) Chuck 'em like there's no tomorrow!

9) Once the game seems to be over, we will have a contest to see who is the most and least floury.

10) Feel free to make donations. All checks must be payable to the Atlantean TGD Charity. All profits will be divided up between the Atlantean Homeless Octopus fund, the Hungry Shark fund, and a couple others that are actually worth funding.

11) Tell your friends what fun you had so they can be jealous!
